My
newest work, abstract weaving on bags and under glass, keeps me busy at
home and at the gallery.
Art can take any form whether in the creativity of creating your own
unique wardrobe, or filling the walls with pieces that move your
spirit.

We
have books, patterns, and DVDs available until they are gone. I will
continue to help in any way I can, anyone who
has questions.
Ask your local libraries and schools to call us for information about
offering their customers Sewing Connection materials.
Ask your local retailer to stock the patterns, books, and DVDs.
Ask your local PBS station of they are interested in airing any of the
programs.
We are heading back into a cycle of frugality and what is more frugal
than making your own clothing?

Shirley Adams
has been
providing fashion sewing instruction for the
whole of her career. Starting as a university professor at Ball State
(IN), she created the Fashion Merchandising degree within the school of
business. Following that, she created The Sewing Connection, an
internationally acclaimed PBS television series, and traveled
throughout the United States, Canada, and even Australia sharing her
knowledge and joy of the art of designing and creating garments that
fit the artist and survive the quickly changing winds of fashion.
