It really does not get any easier than this. I want you to close your eyes and picture a fun child's room with puffy fish on a simple pull shade - just a few. On a pillow, on a simple bedspread. Create sea grass with scrap green fabrics or use close spaced zigzag and create them freehand. Now open your eyes and get your machine ready!
Trace this fish on the rough side of a fusible release sheet. Fuse to your favorite fun fabric. Peel off the paper. Fuse to the garment or fabric for the garment you are making (make sure it is in the right spot for assembly). Cool and stitch around each piece for permanency and decoration depending on your stitch and your thread choice.
You could just cut out the fish from your decorative fabric and use batting between the garment fabric and fish. Haven't you ever heard of a puffer fish?
