The Hobo Bag, series 5, program 13
My all time favorite bag is black UltraLeather with a Crystal Zipper and leftover Escada turtle silk lining. Sound expensive? Not at all. These were scraps I had leftover from other projects. By quilting the lining, I hid seams of pieced together silk.

Purse construction is super simple. You will find your self making enough to match all of your outfits. You will proceed with construction in 3 phases: the outer shell including embellishments; the lining with two attached pockets; the shoulder strap. if you proceed in this manner, your purses will turn out every time.
